Kindness first
You can disagree without being cruel. You can question without being cutting. Warmth is the ground floor of this whole community.
Community
Post anonymously about the tender, messy, real stuff of love. Message someone privately when a thread turns into a friendship. Join a live Q&A with a verified counsellor. All of it moderated by real humans, held together by clear norms.
Anonymous by default · Real moderators · Verified counsellors chime in · Report anything, always
What’s inside the room
The community isn’t one thing — it’s a shape that flexes to how you want to show up. Post anonymously, message privately, gather in a small group, or sit in on a live conversation with an expert.
Threaded discussion by theme — trust, communication, family, faith, healing, parenting, longing, joy. Choose a display name, choose a topic, choose your moment.
See the themesWhen a thread turns into something warmer, move to a private message. End-to-end principles apply — even the platform doesn’t read your DMs.
How DMs workCurated small groups — engaged couples, new parents, long-distance partners, healing after loss — held with clear norms and a real moderator.
Browse groupsWeekly live sessions with verified counsellors and coaches — bring a question anonymously or just listen in. Replays live in the library after.
See the scheduleThe forum is where most of the community lives — organised by theme so you find the room that fits what you’re carrying. Posts are anonymous by default, votes are gentle, and every thread has a real human moderator reading along.
We've been married two years and I feel like there's a wall between us in the evenings. I want to understand — not push.
Try a 10-minute quiet ritual before you both speak. Silence first, words second.
Often this isn't distance — it's decompression. Ask them what a "good pause" looks like.
I felt the same. We started walking together with no phones. Game-changer.
Every week, one of the verified counsellors on LoveSync hosts a live session — sometimes a themed workshop, sometimes an open Q&A. Bring your question anonymously or just listen in. The recording joins the library after, so you can come back when you’re ready.

Sometimes the community is a whole forum. Sometimes it’s five people who just get you. Small groups gather people in a shared season — engaged, healing, long-distance, new parents — and private messaging lets a warm thread become a real friendship, quietly.

Safety, made visible
A trained moderation team watches every theme — not just an algorithm. Reports are triaged within hours, and safety-sensitive reports jump the queue.
Every post, every reply, every DM, every group message has a report affordance. Reports are anonymous to the person you’re reporting — always.
Rate limits on new accounts, gentle friction on inflammatory posts, and clear consequences — from a quiet warning to a permanent ban — for real violations.
New members start anonymous, with DMs closed, and with sensitive-content filters on. You choose what to open, when you’re ready — never the other way round.
Members, in their own words
Everyone here is anonymous — even to us on the marketing team. These voices are shared with permission, and the tags are the themes they were writing in.
I told the community something I’d never told anyone. Within an hour, three people had replied — and one of them was a counsellor. I cried. It was the first time in months I felt less alone.
The live Q&A on repair after betrayal changed how my husband and I talk. Just the workshop was enough to shift something small — and small is where change starts.
I joined the long-distance group at the worst point of my relationship. Two months later I’m still in the group, and my partner and I are still together. The group didn’t save us. But it held me while I did the work.
I lurked for six months before I posted anything. That was fine. Nobody chased me. Nobody made me perform. When I finally wrote something, twenty warm strangers replied. It didn’t feel like the internet.
A counsellor replied to my thread with something that changed a whole assumption I’d been carrying about my mother. I booked a session with her the next week. The community brought me to the help.
I’ve been on every relationship forum on the internet. This is the only one where I’ve never seen a nasty pile-on. I don’t know how the moderators do it. I’m just grateful.
Posting anonymously, step by step
Nothing about posting has to be scary. Here’s exactly what happens when you write something in the community for the first time.
01
Pick a warm, private handle that isn’t your real name — the community sees this, and only this. You can change it later if you want.
02
Trust, communication, family, healing, faith, joy, parenting, longing — choose the theme that matches what you’re carrying, and your post lands with the right room.
03
Say what you need to say — short or long, tidy or messy. Sensitive-content warnings are optional, and there’s no character minimum to be worth writing.
04
Within hours, replies come in — from members, and sometimes from a verified counsellor. Every reply is moderated, and you can mute, block, or report anything that feels off.
Community guidelines
Every member agrees to these when they join. Moderators enforce them consistently — kindly first, firmly when needed.
You can disagree without being cruel. You can question without being cutting. Warmth is the ground floor of this whole community.
Bring the real thing you’re carrying — not a polished version. Vulnerability is welcome here, and it’s met with care.
This isn’t a place to sell coaching, courses, or your Instagram. If you’re a professional, the counsellor and provider paths are how you show up.
This isn’t a dating platform, and it isn’t a DM-for-numbers space. Members who join to hit on others are removed — every time, without warning.

Yes. You choose a display name that isn’t your real name, and by default your account details never appear in community posts. Even the LoveSync marketing and support teams see only your handle — not your real identity — unless a safety escalation makes it necessary. Verified counsellors show their real identity with a small verified badge; everyone else is anonymous unless they choose otherwise.
A trained, in-house moderation team — not just an algorithm. Moderators watch themes in shifts, respond to reports, and escalate anything safety-sensitive to a senior lead. Every moderator is trained on the community guidelines, on de-escalation, and on when to route something to safeguarding instead of handling it themselves.
Reports are triaged within hours — usually much faster. The person you reported never sees that it came from you. A moderator reviews the content, and takes an action from a quiet warning, to a temporary suspension, to a permanent ban — depending on the severity and history. You can see the outcome of your report in your notifications.
Verified counsellors — the same licensed professionals on the LoveSync counselling network — can reply in the forums and show up with a distinctive verified badge next to their name. Their replies are marked so you can see when a licensed practitioner is speaking. It’s not a substitute for a session — but it’s a real voice, from a real professional.
Yes. Private messages and group chats are held to end-to-end principles — even LoveSync platform staff don’t read them. The only exceptions are legally required disclosures and reports you initiate, where you attach a specific message for review. Nothing is scanned for advertising, ever.
Yes. Every moderation action includes a clear reason and a plain-language appeal path. You can write to the appeals team — a separate team from the moderators who made the decision — and we’ll review with fresh eyes within five business days. Where we got it wrong, we say so and reverse it.
Anything harassing, hateful, or targeted. Anything sexually explicit or involving minors. Anything soliciting dating, sex, or money. Anything promoting self-harm or suicide (though open, careful conversations about mental health are welcome and supported). Anything that impersonates a real person. The full list is in the community guidelines and is written in plain language.
The community is open to everyone with a LoveSync account — free or paid. Some features (like access to certain small groups or the recorded live-session library) are member-only, but the forums, DMs, and live Q&A itself are open to all members of the platform.
Come as you are
Whether you’re here to lurk, to write, to ask a hard question, or to sit in on a live conversation — the community holds space for all of it. Anonymous, moderated, and kind by design.
