We open early
The moment we notice a real issue, we open a status entry — even if we’re still investigating. Silence in the middle of a problem is worse than an early acknowledgement.

How we communicate incidents
The moment we notice a real issue, we open a status entry — even if we’re still investigating. Silence in the middle of a problem is worse than an early acknowledgement.
During an active incident we post updates at least every 30 minutes, even if the update is “still investigating”. You’re not waiting in the dark.
Within seven business days of a resolved incident, we publish a plain-language post-mortem covering what happened, why, and what we’re changing.
How an incident unfolds
01
We create a status entry describing what we’re seeing. Subscribers are notified within one minute.
02
On-call engineers converge, isolate the fault, and post an update at least every 30 minutes.
03
The issue is fixed and we confirm return to normal operation. The status entry is marked resolved.
04
Within seven business days, we publish a plain-language post-mortem — what happened, root cause, and what we’re changing.
